The X100s Can See In The Dark, But…

…it can’t see through clouds. Just as well my wife snapped this shot out of the car window on the way in (you can see the camera in the mirror). By the time we got off the final toll road, the whole mountain had clouded over. Oh well.

_DSF4518 X100s, no attention to WB & a heavy clarity hand. This is the un-cropped shot that was the basis of yesterday’s Fuji-san photo (I’ve stuck that version at the bottom of this post again too, for comparative purposes).

I managed the one below, as we paused before going through the toll gate to the final section of toll road (if you’re on the dedicated page for this post [click the title], then the crop in the header gives a better impression of the feeling of awe one gets in real life).
