The magnifier Part 2

Another problem is exactly where autofocus is locking on. Ever so very occasionally I find myself surprised in post production when foreheads or ears are in focus, rather than eyes, despite feeling very certain that I was locking onto an eye. Again, the incidence of this is magnified with the TCL-X100. A case in point below (more obvious in the header photo, if you are viewing this post in its dedicated page).

Hopefully focus won’t be the needle that breaks my back.
